THE POWER OF PERSONAL PROJECTS WORKSHOP

"If it’s both terrifying and amazing then you should definitely pursue it.” ~Erada

Are you feeling uninspired creatively? Are you shooting for clients and forgetting to shoot for yourself, too? Do you want to remember what it is like to shoot just for the love of shooting or just for yourself? If so, The Power of Personal Projects is for you. Through this self-paced but intensive workshop, I will guide you in the brainstorming, planning, and execution of an enriching personal project.

Using over 150 pages of in-depth, detailed PDFs, I will lead you through a variety of inspiration and creativity building exercises, guide you through the study of personal projects from a variety of photographers, and direct you in the development of the focus and the fundamental parameters of your project. I will also move you to look genuinely into what drives you creatively and artistically through in-depth journaling to help you develop a project that will feed your artistic soul.

This workshop will encourage you to look deeply into the things that inspire, speak to and motivate you. By the end of the workshop, you will have defined the inspiration and goals you have for your project, determined its duration, planned the equipment you will need, given thought to the look and feel you want to create with your post-processing and decided how you will share your project once completed. You will be ready to complete from start to finish a project that will enrich, challenge and fulfill you. Get ready to push yourself outside of your creative comfort zone with this personal and focused workshop.
